History

History starts with you. This is Healthy Kidz Lunch first endeavor and we are excited to be partnering with one of Charlottesville’s finest private schools. Healthy Kidz Lunch is a new part of Arch’s Frozen Yogurt. Arch’s Frozen Yogurt has been doing business in the Charlottesville and surrounding areas for more than twenty years. We have been serving wholesome and creative lunches for more than eleven years and are excited to begin this new era in our history.

Our Mission

It’s simple. Your child needs good food in order to grow. They are hungry for nutrients...what better to give them, than fresh wholesome ingredients. It’s Healthy Kidz’s mission to provide your child with the healthy foods they need in an exciting way. NUTRITIOUS, FRESH, and EXCITING!

Our Standards

We know how busy you are so you can rest assured that your child will receive the freshest meals, without the hassle of having to do it yourself. Children need well-balanced meals with a variety of fruits, vegetables and whole grains in order to function at top performance during their school day. We know that nutrition is important to you, and that's why it's our number one goal to make our meals wholesome and your child happy.

We believe in minimizing chemicals and artificial ingredients in your child’s food. We strive to provide you with choices that are wholesome with as many organic and natural choices possible. For example, our sandwich turkey is hormone, nitrate and preservative free.

Menu Items

Every day will include tasty nutritious sandwich options. Tuesdays and Thursdays will always be Healthy Kidz’s “hot item” days. Hot menu items will change every four weeks, to offer a variety of kid favorites, as well as some more adventurous items. Fridays are “Pizza Day” provided by our local friends at Papa Johns. Sides will include a variety of nutritious goodness and our beverage items will be wholesome. Try us! See more information about our menu.

Absentee Policy

If your child is absent from school on the day of his/her order their lunch will be held in a refrigerator until the end of the week. At the end of the week the lunch will be dropped off at a local food shelter. Nothing wasted!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

In the near future you will see a reusable bag that will hold your child’s lunch. We will also strive to reuse plastic containers and paper bags whenever possible.

Food Allergies and Sensitivities

We produce all our products in a kitchen that processes with peanuts, tree nuts, dairy and wheat products.
